The West Valley Eagles Track Club, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) youth athletic organization dedicated to helping kids develop leadership skills, self-motivation, and discipline through healthy competition in track and field. We strive to guide athletes of all skill levels to pursue and surpass personal and team goals while competing with peers in a positive, supportive environment.

Founded in 1971 by Coach Dave Hann with just a couple of coaches and a handful of kids, the West Valley Eagles Track Club has evolved into one of the most respected youth sports programs in the country. The Eagles have been a launching point for many world-class track and field athletes, including Olympic and World Championship medalists Allyson Felix, Quincy Watts, Marion Jones, Deena Drossin Kastor, Joanna Hayes, Inger Miller, Tyree Washington, and Alysia Johnson-Montano.

These Eagles alumni have brought back to America an astounding 13 gold, 4 silver, and 3 bronze Olympic medals. To put this in perspective, of the 200-plus countries that have competed in track and field at the Olympics since 1896, only 18 countries have accumulated more than 13 gold medals. Our Eagles greats have also won 24 gold medals at the World Championships, with only 7 countries in the entire history of the World Championships winning more. Allyson Felix stands as the crown jewel of Eagles history, becoming the most decorated female track and field athlete in Olympic and World Championship history with a combined 30 medals, including 18 gold medals across both competitions.

The Eagles compete with other Valley Youth Conference Track and Field clubs in local meets, and qualifying athletes advance to regional and national competitions. The Eagles routinely send more athletes than any other conference team to represent the Valley Youth Conference All-Star Team (Valley United) at USA Track and Field age group Nationals and Junior Olympics. Through these national competitions, the Eagles are recognized as one of the top track clubs in the United States. With dedicated volunteer coaches, supportive parents, generous sponsors, and motivated athletes, the West Valley Eagles Track and Field Club has helped thousands of kids soar.
